I would like to study Hebrew, mostly for reading, but also for a trip to Israel later this year or next. Do you have on-line classes for adults or someone in the Napanee area that can help me? I have an old copy of “My First Hebrew Alphabet Book” by Jennifer & Susan Lapine but am trying to find a package of flashcards. Can you help?
I will give your contact information to our educator and Rabbi. Your learning, if they are available, may have to be online. I hope they can help you in your journey and that arrangement will be sufficient.
Good day,
I am writing you in my capacity as world religions teacher at Marie-Rivier High School here in Kingston. My coworker and I are hoping that we can prevail upon you to help us organise a virtual visit with a member of your religious community. We are looking for someone who would be able to talk to us about certain aspects of Jewish faith with our grade 10 students. The topic(s) chosen can be rather wide ranging and would depend on the speaker as we would like them to feel comfortable sharing with us.
We were hoping to organise a time within the next two to three weeks. Though we are a French school, we would be happy to welcome an English speaker.
We would really appreciate any assistance that you can give us. Thank you for you time and attention.
Sincerely,
Karn Laursen

Thank you for writing. I have forwarded your inquiry to our educator and Rabbi. I am always grateful to receive requests to share our faith with students.
